At Pool Academy, our vision is to support students so that they can be happy and successful, in their further study, chosen career and beyond. We believe that this means supporting students’ academic development, but also the skills which make them who they are: listening; speaking; creativity; staying positive; aiming high; teamwork and leadership.
Developing our students’ cultural capital and supporting them in achieving their wider personal
development goals as British citizens and well-rounded individuals is central to the ethos of Pool Academy. This includes the spiritual, moral, social and cultural aspects of life which underpin our broad and balanced curriculum. Students will learn about their rich cultural heritage and at the same time develop an understanding of the global community that we are all a part of.
We ensure students have a comprehensive understanding of the range of careers available to them and the qualifications, skills and experiences they need in order to pursue them. Our Careers, Inspiration and PSHE programmes enable our students to develop their talents, interests and passions.
